0.00

Up for grabs is a Rolex Date in steel

1500 reference with smooth bezel

2.1 mil serial number circa 1969 production

This watch was owned and worn United States Air Force Major General William W. Wisman. This is confirmed by original Rolex warranty papers filled out with his name and also the personalized engraving on the caseback of the watch. More information about him can be found here: http://www.af.mil/AboutUs/Biographies/Display/tabid/225/Article/105217/major-general-william-w-wisman.aspx

Excellent vintage condition case with even lugs, clearly visible numbers.

Dial is original, silver with door stop 6 and 9 markers. Nice patina on plots and hands. Date disk was service replaced in past, has closed 6's and 9's.

Caseback is original, stamped I.69 inside

The bracelet is an oval link Jubilee with "50" stamped end-links. The clasp appears to have been replaced with a generic one in past.

Watch comes with its original beveled box, caseback sticker, COSC papers with punched serial number, Rolex card holder, original punched papers, and translation booklet.

The watch has just been serviced by matchmaker and runs fine.
