Up for grabs is a Rolex DateJust in steel and gold
1601 reference
2.65 mil serial number circa 1971 production
Excellent vintage condition case without major dings or dents. Thick and even lugs. There is some pitting between the lugs, but you can still make out the serial number fully and clearly see the reference numbers.
Dial is original, silver with gold “Wide Boy” markers and hands. Dial is damage free. Nice orange patina on all tritium plots. Date disk with open 6’s and 9’s.
Caseback is original, stamped 1601 and I.71 inside.
No box or papers. No documented service history. Watch winds smoothly and runs.
