1959 Omega Speedmaster 2915-3 Brown Dial

0.00

Up for grabs is an Omega Speedmaster Pre-Pro

2915-3 reference circa 1959

151478XX serial number circa 1959. Serial number range is earlier than generally observed with -3 variations, but should still be correct.

Excellent vintage condition case with defined lugs. No corrosion or pitting.

Dial is original, radium, in excellent vintage condition. Dial has aged to a chocolate brown color, extremely attractive in person. Radium plots and hands have aged to a very attractive orange patina throughout. A Geiger counter is still showing strong radioactive activity, reinforcing the originality of the dial. Hands are original and correct for -3 variation. Excellent condition with radium fully intact. Small leaf hands show some peeling of paint.

Bezel is a correct black BASE 1000 in decent condition. Shows plenty of signs of wear. As seen in on of the pictures, shows a nice fade to it, as well.

Caseback is original, in excellent vintage condition. Nice outer engraving. Inside is stamped 2915-3.

Bracelet is Omega 7077/6, with double expandable links. Stamped 2.59 on clasp. Correct "6" end-links. Bracelet fits a small wrist and would need extra links to fit a normal or large size wrists.
