1993 Tudor “Big Block” Chronograph ref. 79180 Black Glossy Dial, Box & Papers

Up for grabs is Tudor Chrono-Time Chronograph

B53 serial number circa 1993 production. 

Excellent vintage condition case with thick and even lugs. Serial and reference numbers are clearly intact and visible. 

Dial is original, tritium and glossy. No damage, all plots are intact. Hands are tritium as well. 

Bezel is original and show little wear. No major dents or rashes. 

The bracelet on this watch is a Rolex 93150 and 580 ends. It is techincally incorrect for the watch as the papers state that it should have come on 78360 bracelet. If you look at the pictures with serial and reference numbers, you can see the end-links “wear” is from these end-links and not 2 separate sets of them, as the 78360 would original come with 589 end-links, which are taller to cover the thick case of the watch. So, my theory is that the buyer wanted a flip-lock bracelet instead of the 78360 and the AD swapped it out for him at the store. The bracelet is tight, with similar degree of wear as the rest of the watch.

Watch comes complete with Tudor boxes, Tudor booklet, matching hang tag, and warranty papers which are matching to the watch, has the AD name stamped on it that matches the sticker on the box, as well.
